A Nappanee man has been sentenced to eight years for possessing methamphetamine.

The Goshen News says police found 50-year-old Clarence Krager Junior during a search of a home on Hastings Street in March.

Krager told police he had been living there, knew about drug activity and had used meth at the home days earlier.

Four years of his eight-year sentence are suspended to probation under a stipulated plea agreement.
