Two men are in custody following a state and federal law enforcement operation in Milford.

Indiana State Police and the F-B-I executed a search warrant at a home on West First Street on Friday evening, Aug. 14.

Police arrested 32-year-old Jefferson Velasquez Pedrosa of Berwyn, Illinois, on outstanding federal warrants for bank burglary and bank theft.

A second suspect, 19-year-old Winyerber Acosta of Chicago, allegedly ran from the home. He was found about two hours later in a wooded area roughly a quarter-mile away and taken into custody without incident.

Police say Acosta was wanted in Cook County, Illinois, on an aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon charge.
