An Elkhart man faces ten felony charges in connection with the alleged collection and possession of child sexual abuse material.

Twenty-seven-year-old Chaz Thrasher is charged with three counts of Child Exploitation and seven counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Court documents allege he sought, obtained, shared or traded the material on platforms including Kik, Telegram, Xbox, Snapchat and Instagram.

Authorities say Meta flagged some of the activity. Documents also allege Thrasher sometimes posed as a minor on Xbox to obtain the material. His initial hearing is scheduled for August 25th.
