One person was injured in a shooting on East Fox Street in South Bend.

Police were called to the area just before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, after reports of a shooting.

St. Joseph County Dispatch says one person was shot and taken for medical treatment.

A suspect was taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
