Blues fans will take over Elkhart’s Island Park September 12 for the annual Island of Blues festival.

The free event runs from noon to 9 p.m., featuring live music, food vendors, beer gardens and the Coachmen Classic Cars show.

Performers include Sugar Lime Blue, A Patch of Blues, the JR Clark Band and Michael Charles Band.

The festival celebrates Elkhart’s musical history while bringing the community together downtown.
