ISP report 61 arrests during child sexual abuse operation

Indiana State Police say a summer operation targeting child sexual abuse led to 61 arrests statewide.
During August, investigators received more than 1,600 tips involving possible crimes against children. More than 200 turned into investigations, including 30 involving undercover chats or file-sharing cases.
Police say they identified more than 80 victims and removed nine children from ongoing abuse situations. Six of those arrested were registered sex offenders.
