Flock license plate cameras remain active across Marshall County, despite county council members voting last week to remove funding for the program from the 2027 budget.

WSBT says the county’s current contract with Flock Safety runs through 2028, and officials are reviewing whether it can be canceled early.

Commissioners voted Monday to hold a special meeting on October 6 to discuss the contract and legal requirements surrounding its possible termination.
