The St. Joseph County Department of Health is offering a free car seat safety clinic next Tuesday. 

The EMBER program will provide education, safety inspections and installation support from a certified technician.

Qualified families may also receive a free car seat or booster seat through the Indiana Automotive Safety Program.

The clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Northwest Neighborhood Center on Portage Avenue in South Bend.
