Goshen Studying New Location for Skate Park

Goshen officials are moving ahead with plans that could bring a new skate park to the city.
The Park Board approved agreements with Abonmarche for a master plan at Rogers Park and a feasibility study for a possible skate park at Hay Park.
The former skate park at Rogers Park was removed in 2024 because of safety concerns. Officials say floodway restrictions at that site would limit redevelopment options.
A preliminary concept for Hay Park includes a 15-thousand-square-foot concrete skate facility with ramps, rails, stairs and other features. Public feedback has also called for shade and landscaping.
