Construction is moving above ground at a new riverfront condominium development in downtown South Bend.

Developers have installed a tower crane at Three Twelve at The Cascade on East Colfax Avenue, marking the start of vertical construction on the project’s second phase.

The planned eight-story building will include 22 condominium units, office space and amenities including a fitness center, club room and heated underground parking. Developers say nearly half the units have already been reserved.

Initial move-ins are expected in late 2027. The project is next to the sold-out first phase of The Cascade in the East Bank Village.
