Indiana BMV branches will extend their hours November 2 and 3 to help Hoosiers obtain identification for voting.
On Monday, November 2, branches will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, they’ll open at 6 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
The BMV says branches will prioritize applications and renewals for identification cards, learner permits and driver’s licenses.
State ID cards are available at no cost for eligible Hoosiers who do not have a driver’s license. Customers should bring the required documents; details are available on the BMV website.
An ID that expired after the November 2024 general election may still be used for voting.
Regular branch hours resume Wednesday, November 4.
