Suspects in Goshen double homicide charged with murder

Formal charges of murder have been filed against the two men arrested in connection with a double homicide that took place in Brookside Manor in Goshen earlier this month.

Diego Ramos, 22, and Luis Rivas, 19, have each been charged with two counts of murder, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Ramos and Rivas are accused of fatally shooting Jose Nava-Orozco, 27, and Marco Carmona-Gonzalez, 43, in the 400 block of of Ripple Rock Drive in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 13.

If convicted on both charges, they could face a sentence of up to 130 years in prison, The Elkhart Truth reported.
