Berrien County Jail inmate died of hanging, autopsy determines

An autopsy determined the cause of death for a Berrien County Jail inmate found dead in his cell Saturday night, Feb. 27.

Martell Hadley died of asphyxiation by hanging, according to Berrien County Sheriff L. Paul Bailey.

A complete autopsy report won’t be available for several weeks.
