Concord Nativity scene lawsuit includes two new plaintiffs who hope to remain anonymous

Two new plaintiffs have joined the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s lawsuit against Concord Community Schools over a Nativity scene included in the high school’s Christmas Spectacular.

The plaintiffs are listed as John Roe and John Noe in the lawsuit because they hope to remain anonymous like the lawsuit’s original plaintiffs, John and Jack Doe, according to our news partners The Elkhart Truth.

There has been plenty of public backlash and at least one death threat in the case. In one letter mailed to the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the letter writer threatened to find and kill the lead lawyer in the case and the people whom the letter writer believed were involved in the lawsuit, The Truth reported.
