PHOENIX (AP) — Federal authorities say a Phoenix woman accused of abducting her 18-month-old child last month has been arrested in Indiana.

U.S. Marshals Service officials announced Tuesday that 21-year-old Saron Murray was taken into custody last weekend at a home in South Bend.

She’s awaiting extradition to Arizona.

Murray was wanted by Phoenix police in a custodial interference case.

Authorities say Murray doesn’t have custodial rights but took the toddler from temporary custody on Nov. 17 and fled to Berkley, Missouri.

Five days later, deputy U.S. marshals and Berkley police officers found the child at the home of a family member in Missouri.

Authorities say Murray was found in South Bend with a man who had multiple warrants out of Minnesota.

They say the unidentified man also was arrested and awaiting extradition.
