Two Granger men killed in crash in Edwardsburg over Labor Day weekend

Two Granger men were killed when their vehicles collided on M-62 in Edwardsburg, Mich., over Labor Day weekend.

Philip Philippou, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to a news release from the Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department. Andrew Clark, 46, died at South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Clark was driving south on M-62 south of May Street at about 11:08 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a northbound vehicle driven by Philippou, according to the news release.

The crash is still under investigation, but police said alcohol was not a factor.
