Stabbing in South Bend on Sunday believed to have stemmed from domestic dispute

A stabbing that happened in South Bend on Sunday is believed to have stemmed from a domestic dispute.

South Bend Police were called to the 300 block of Illinois Street around 8:15 a.m. On arrival, officers found a trail of blood on the sidewalk that led them down the street to the 400 block of Illinois Street.

A man and a woman were taken to the hospital for treatment.

There is no word on their conditions.
