Weather is said to have played a factor in two crashes on the Indiana Toll Road on Monday morning, May 25.

The first crash happened near eastbound mile marker 68, around 9:15 am, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC-57 News.

On arrival, police found a pickup truck had rolled over and landed on its top.

Officers said the driver of the pickup had the vehicle in cruise control when it slid and collided with the guard rail, due to the heavy rain.

A second accident, also at eastbound mile marker 68 occurred a few minutes later when heavy rainfall caused an SUV to hydroplane from the left lane into the median and roll over, eventually landing back on its tires, as reported by ABC-57 News.

The crashes are not related, according to investigators. There were no serious injuries in either collision.
