South Bend teenager arrested after Warren Street shooting

SOUTH BEND — A South Bend teenager was arrested Friday morning, March 27, in connection to a Wednesday night shooting.

Devante J. Harris, 19, was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail on a charge of attempted murder, according to Capt. Phil Trent with the South Bend Police Department.

Harris is accused of shooting a man in the 500 block of Warren Street at about 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25.

He is being held without bond, according to online jail records.
