LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Grants are available to organizations in Michigan that provide services to crime victims.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Crime Victim Services Commission will award three- to five-year U.S. Department of Justice grants of $50,000 or more.
Applications will be accepted through April 18 at 3 p.m.
Agencies seeking the grants must be public or nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to crime victims. Eligible organizations can include — but are not limited to — sexual assault treatment centers, domestic violence programs, child abuse programs and children’s advocacy centers.
