Michigan State announces football game ticket price hike

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State is raising ticket prices for football games after its second Big Ten title in three years.

The school says this is the first time since 2009 that season-ticket prices will increase. Season tickets for 2016 are being priced at $343 for the public and $280 for faculty and staff. These prices reflect an increase of $5 per game.

Current season-ticket holders can renew requests for parking for a season price of $210 — an increase of $10 per game.
