Dispute in South Bend leads to shooting that has victim fighting for life

A fight between two family members appears to be the cause of a shooting that’s left one person fighting for their life.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Thursday on the 23700 block of Fillmore Road, according to ABC 57.

The homeowner shot the other person after a dispute. The other person might have been trying to drive away before he or she was shot, then crashed into a tree, according to St. Joseph County police.
