The non-profit group, “Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief,” is helping Elkhart residents on recovery efforts after the recent tornado.
Thousands of volunteers from across all 50 states have joined the effort, offering a range of assistance.
They serve hot meals to those in need and help families clean up their properties after the storm.
The Elkhart Fire Department has cleared and burned more than 50 percent of the storm damage, so far.
