Nearly 50,000 pounds of food collected in Student Hunger Drive

The results are in: schools participating in the Student Hunger Drive of Northern Indiana raised 49,800 pounds of food during its six-week campaign.

The collection will go to the Food Bank of Elkhart County at Church Community Services and the pantries it serves.

Concord High School raised the most pounds per student. Elkhart Central and Elkhart Memorial high schools tied for raising the second-most pounds per student.
