Good news for drivers who regularly use S.R. 23 by University Park Mall — INDOT will be repaving a section of the road Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14 and 15.

Drivers are advised to watch for lane closures and construction workers along S.R. 23 between Cleveland and Edison roads on both days, according to a news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation.

Several potholes were temporarily patched throughout winter, but now crews can do mini-resurfacing on the worst parts of S.R. 23.

This particular stretch of S.R. 23 is “nearing the end of its lifespan,” according to the news release, and will be completely resurfaced in early 2016.
