Six arrested in Jared jewelry store robbery in Mishawaka

Six people were arrested in connection to the robbery at Jared: The Galleria of Jewelry in Mishawaka on Wednesday afternoon, April 15.

The following six people were arrested on preliminary charges of armed robbery, according to a news release from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office:

  • Dayron Cortez Broaden, 25
  • Charles Hall, 27
  • Ronald D. McMullen, 25
  • Marty Joseph Lowman, 23
  • Dmil Janaire Lamar Polley, 21
  • Brivan Franklin, 23

All six are in custody at the St. Joseph County Jail.

Prosecutors and officers are working to piece together evidence and will make a charging decision by tomorrow morning, the news release stated.

The individuals are suspected of stealing at least $20,000 of jewelry from Jared: The Galleria of Jewelry at the University Park Mall on Wednesday. The suspects led police on a chase and were eventually stopped and arrested in a parking lot near Movies 6, WNDU reported.
