Alma Del Real search continues two weeks after she was last seen

Two weeks later, police, family and friends are still searching for a 22-year-old Alma Del Real, who was last seen on April 12.

Two local businesses, Marco’s Pizza and Kroger, are pitching in to help out, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners, ABC 57.

Marco’s Pizza is putting a flyer about Del Real on every box of pizza ordered from their Mishawaka store, ABC 57 reported. Flyers are also being handed out to shoppers at the Kroger’s store on Ireland Road in South Bend.

Michiana Crime Stoppers is also offering a $5,000 reward for information that helps police find Del Real. They’re also using a new call center to help take tips from Spanish speakers.

“People (are) really spreading this word on a national level and in fact international down into Mexico, so we are getting ready for that contingency that we may need to really step up our effort to be able to communicate with that population,” Lt. Cindy Kilgore with Crime Stoppers told ABC 57.

All calls regarding Del Real are handled in-house to make sure that all information is collected.

Tips given to Crime Stoppers are still collected anonymously.

Police are asking anyone with information about Del Real, especially if they have seen her since 3:30 a.m. April 12, to CrimeStoppers at 574-288-STOP or 800-342-STOP or to can submit a tip online. Tips can also be given to Det. Jen Gobel with the South Bend Police Department at 574-235-7478.
