Shooting investigation underway in South Bend

A man was taken to a hospital after he was shot in the back in South Bend on Monday night, April 27.

Police were called to Jordan Fish and Chicken in the 1100 block of Lincolnway West just after 10:30 p.m.

The man was shot in the back about one block from that area, according to

The man then made his way to the restaurant and asked for someone to call 911, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partner, ABC 57.

The search for the suspect is ongoing.
