During the arraignment hearing, Cass County Prosecutor Victor Fitz said that Terry Stineback called 911 at about 9:39 p.m. Tuesday night and told dispatchers that he had shot his wife, according to 95.3 MNC’s news partners ABC 57.
When police arrived, they found Laura Stineback dead inside a bedroom in the home.
During the police investigation, the couple’s 9-year-old daughter told police that her father began choking her mother in the basement during an argument, Fitz said. The girl pleaded for her father to stop and he ordered her upstairs and then forced Laura Stineback upstairs to their bedroom.
