Alma Del Real’s life will be celebrated during upcoming memorial events, including a visitation service and Catholic funeral Mass.

Alma Del Real, 22, was found dead on May 20 after she was reported missing in April. Hundreds of people and several businesses from around St. Joseph and Elkhart counties searched for her more than five weeks.

A visitation service honoring her life will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Alford’s Mortuary, 1222 Napier St., South Bend, according to her obituary. A Catholic funeral Mass will begin at 6 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, 829 Calvert St., South Bend.

The public is welcome at both services, according to Alford’s Mortuary. The public is also invited to a celebration of life ceremony at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, in the gym at Our Lady of Hungary School, 735 Calvert St., South Bend.
