Hit-and-run crash sends four people to the hospital early Monday morning

Three adults and a baby were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries after a hit-and-run crash near downtown South Bend early Monday morning, June 29.

The adults and baby were inside a silver car that was struck by a black car at the intersection of Michigan Street and Indiana Avenue at about 4 a.m., WSBT reported.

The black car had ran a red light and drove away after the crash.

Further details about the suspect’s vehicle were not immediately available.
