Fir Road to close at University Drive on Monday, July 13

The intersection of Fir Road and University Drive will be closed beginning Monday, July 13, for intersection improvements. In addition, Fir Road will be closed between Cleveland Road and the Toll Road bridge, according to a news release from the City of Mishawaka.

Local traffic will be able to access University Drive from Main Street. Local traffic will be able to access Fir Road from Douglas Road.

Weather permitting, these restrictions are anticipated to be removed by August 31, according to the news release.

The detour route heading west on Douglas Road will continue to Main Street, then north on Main Street to State Road 23, east on State Road 23 ending at Fir Road.

The detour heading east on Douglas Road will continue to State Road 331, then north on State Road 331 to Cleveland Road, and west on Cleveland Road ending at Fir Road.
