The next time you swipe right, be careful — your too-good-to-be-true date could actually be a robot trying to scam you out of money or personal information.

A new scam is targeting users of the popular dating app Tinder, WNDU reported. Tinder allows users to “swipe right” if users come across a profile of someone they think is attractive and “swipe left” if the user isn’t interested in that person. Users are then notified if they match with another person who also swiped right for them.

The Better Business Bureau warns Tinder users to be wary if someone else urges you to chat through text rather than through Tinder, then immediately sends links or asks for personal information like an address, WNDU reported.

The scam profiles sometimes have professional photos and the responding text messages may not make sense in the context of the conversation. There is also usually a sense of urgency in the text messages.

Anyone who suspects a scam should immediately contact the Better Business Bureau.
