South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg to host next “Night Out” event on Wednesday, July 29

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg will host the next “Mayor’s Night Out” on Wednesday, July 29, at Lincoln Primary Center, 1425 E. Calvert St., in South Bend.

The event will start at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.

The monthly “night out” programs allow South Bend residents a chance to speak directly with Mayor Buttigieg and his department heads. The event is open to all residents, and five-minute, one-on-one discussions with the Mayor are held on a first-come, first-served basis.

Leaders from the following departments will be available throughout the event to provide information on South Bend’s projects and programs:

  • Administration & Finance
  • Building Department
  • Corporation Counsel
  • Public Works Department
  • Police Department
  • Fire Department
  • Code Enforcement
  • Animal Care and Control
  • Streets Department
  • Parks & Recreation Department
  • Mayor’s Office
  • Common Council
  • Community Investment
