The Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco board decided, this week, to extend Cheers Bar and Grill’s liquor license for another year.
It was back in November, when police raided the bar and discovered more than 70 cases of underage drinking and confiscated 50 fake IDs.
New reports this week state that a bouncer working at the bar allegedly accepted bribes ranging from $10 to $20 from underage patrons trying to enter.
Before the raid, officials say the bar had received numerous complaints about public intoxication, fake IDs, and illegal alcohol consumption.
The owner says they’ve submitted an action plan to the state and made several changes and that there’ve been no police calls in the past four months.
