Granger man sentenced to home detention, probation for child molestation

A 75-year-old Granger man convicted of child molestation was sentenced to two years of home detention and four years of probation.

Michael Reum is also required to register as a sex offender and he’s banned from coming into contact with his victim, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth. That includes not attending his victim’s church if he knows she will be present.

Reum was accused of inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl’s genitals in 2010. He knew the victim.
