September 11 attacks: Flags to be flown at half-staff for Patriot Day in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Mike Pence is directing flags at state facilities across Indiana be flown at half-staff Friday in honor of Patriot Day.

A statement from the governor’s office says flags should be lowered at sunrise and remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday.

Pence also asks that businesses and residents across Indiana to lower their flags to half-staff to pay tribute to the men and women who were injured or lost their lives in the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Friday is the 14th anniversary of those attacks.
