Pet of the Week: Kovu is an energetic boy who always has a huge smile

Looking for a new furry four-legged friend? The Humane Society of St. Joseph County has several dogs, cats, birds and other animals looking for a forever home.

This week’s 95.3 MNC Pet of the Week is Kovu, a neutered 2-year-old male cattle dog mix. Here’s more about him:

I’m such a happy boy so it’s pretty hard to catch me without a huge smile on my face! I’m always happy to see you and I really just want to find my perfect forever home. I am a return adoption because my previous owners were moving far away and they couldn’t take me with. I was sad for a little bit, but then I realized I’m getting a second chance to find love. Could it be with you? I do need a home with kids five and up because I may not get along with very young kids very well because I’m super energetic boy who likes to jump. If you think we are a match, take me out for a playtime today!

ADOPTION CENTER INFORMATION

  • Noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday
  • Noon to 4 p.m. Sundays (May through September)

Adoptable cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on appropriate vaccinations and tests. Not all pocket pets are spayed, neutered, microchipped or vaccinated.
