Police find dead woman in Michigan with live raccoon, many other animals

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — A woman has been found dead in an Oakland County home surrounded by many live animals, including cats, a dog, rabbits and a raccoon.

Waterford Township police say the cause of death wasn’t immediately known. The 47-year-old woman was from Clarkston.

Animal control officers removed the animals after the discovery Thursday. The interior of the home was in bad shape.
