Indiana Toll Road bans certain semis, large vehicles on Saturday during expected winter storm

Certain vehicles will be banned from theIndiana Toll Road on Saturday, Nov. 21, because of an expected winter storm.

Triple trailers, long double trailers, high-profile oversize permit loads and steel haulers will not be able to travel along the Indiana Toll Road between mile marker 24 (Portage exit) and mile marker 144 (Angola exit) from 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, to 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22.

Up to seven inches of snow is expected to fall throughout most of the Michiana area on Saturday. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy.

A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
