Governor Pence orders flags at half-staff for California victims

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Mike Pence is directing flags at Indiana facilities statewide be flown at half-staff through Monday to honor the shooting victims in San Bernardino, California

The governor’s office says flags return to full-staff at midnight Monday.

Pence also asks Indiana businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff to honor the victims.

President Barack Obama ordered U.S. flags at the White House and other government buildings to be flown at half-staff through Monday to honor the victims of the shootings.

In a statement later Friday, Pence added that the flags will remain at half-staff on Monday in observance of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
