South Bend shooting sends one person to hospital after attempted robbery

One person was shot during an attempted armed robbery in South Bend on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 8.

The attempted robbery happened just before 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Adams Street, the South Bend Tribune reported.

The male victim was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. No other injuries were reported and no suspects have been arrested.

The incident is under investigation.
