A 24-year-old Angola woman died Tuesday morning, Dec. 22, in a crash at C.R. 6 and C.R. 17 in Elkhart County.
Airiel L. Burnau was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup truck at the intersection at about 5:30 a.m., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the car, a 29-year-old Angola man, was taken to Memorial Hospital after the crash. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
