INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana House Speaker Brian Bosma is set to unveil the Republican legislative agenda for his caucus.
Bosma said in a statement that he will detail House Republican priorities at a Thursday news conference.
He has previously indicated some broader goals for the 2016 legislative session, but has yet to reveal specifics.
House Republicans have said they would like to find a long-term solution to funding Indiana’s poorly rated roads and would like to make changes to the ISTEP test that would not punish teachers and schools for poor student performance in 2015.
Bosma has also said he would like to find a way to deal with the state’s teacher shortage.
