2 teenage boys found fatally shot inside vehicle in Gary

GARY, Ind. (AP) — Gary police are investigating the deaths of two teenage boys found fatally shot inside a vehicle in the northwestern Indiana city.

The Chicago Tribune reports a Gary police officer on patrol noticed the vehicle’s driver’s side door was open Friday night. The officer approached the vehicle and found the boys’ bodies inside.

Both had been shot to death and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lake County coroner’s office has identified the victims as 15-year-old Mark Skipper of Hammond and 16-year-old Kasreeyal Hester of Gary.
