Silver Alert issued for missing Portage Indiana man

A Silver Alert has been issued for a man missing from Portage, Indiana.

The Portage Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Frank S. Komenda, 80.

Komenda is described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 220 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes.

Komenda was last seen at 11:30 am on Saturday, Feb. 6, in Portage and is believed to be in danger.

Komenda was last seen wearing a brown “Carhart” jacket with hood, black stocking cap and jeans. He may be disoriented and require medical attention, according to Indiana State Police.

He is believed to be driving a turquoise 1995 Ford F-150 vehicle, with a matching canopy. The vehicle has an Indiana plate of SYI205 .
