A 28-year-old man is heading to prison after police say he sold LSD taken by two teenagers who drowned in Kosciusko County in May 2015.
Jared Frantz, 28, was sentenced to five years in prison and ordered to enroll in rehab during a court hearing Monday, Feb. 8, according to Ink Free News. Two of those years were suspended.
Frantz pleaded guilty in January to one count of dealing a schedule 1 controlled substance as a level 5 felony and the second count was dropped.
He was arrested in July in connection to the May deaths of Korbin Foster and Kaleb Lampkin. The 17-year-old boys were found dead in a pond on the morning of May 30. Toxicology results later showed that both boys had LSD, commonly known as acid, in their system.
Police say the boys bought the LSD from another juvenile, who admitted that he bought the LSD from Frantz.
