A man was killed and a woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash in LaPorte County late Tuesday night, March 1.

The crash happened at about 11:15 p.m. Central when a vehicle veered off the road of S.R. 8 near C.R. 500 West and landed on its side, our news partners ABC 57 reported.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was hospitalized with a head injury.

The crash remains under investigation.
