A 26-year-old Mishawaka woman was arrested after police say she and a man molested a young child.

Angela Warren, 26, was charged with child molesting, a level 1 felony that carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.

Warren is accused of having sex with a boy younger than 14 while 33-year-old Joseph Anderson Jr. watched and participated, according to court documents.

Investigators were told about the incident while interviewing a witness in Anderson’s case.

Anderson was arrested earlier this month and charged with 11 felonies relating to child molestation and child pornography. Prior to that arrest, Anderson was already considered a sexually violent predator because of previous child molestation convictions in 2006 and 2009. He was placed on lifetime parole and ordered not to contact children younger than 16.

Warren and Anderson are both being held at St. Joseph County Jail.
