Meth bust in Niles leads to arrest of 30-year-old woman

A 30-year-old woman was arrested and a child was removed from a Niles, Mich., home after police found meth labs there on Wednesday, March 9.

Officers executed a search warrant in the 3100 block of Detroit Road and found several items involving in meth-making inside and outside of the home, according to Cass County Sheriff’s Department. Three old one-pot meth labs were found outside of the home.

The Michigan Department of Human Services was called because a child was in the home.

The woman was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, manufacturing hazardous waste, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. Her identity is being withheld until she is arraigned.
